Status of Test_Copy as a Temporary Server

<p>I was curious about whats going on with Test_Copy. Will it be taken down at the end of the year and used for beta testing the expansion?</p><p>The reason I ask is because I see a great many people who believe Test_Copy is their new home. One very friendly player I was chatting with the other day, copied over at 67 I believe it was, then leveled up to 78 and was planning on hitting 80 soon. When I explained that the server was temporary and does get wipped she was heatbroken that she could potentially lose all her hard work.</p><p>Now that the Buffers seem to be permanently placed in several spots, Test_Copy is beginning to grow in population. If the server remains a temporary one, which can and will be wiped at some point, perhaps reminding players via the MOTD would be a good idea. I just hate seeing people grinding a tradeskill and/or doing anything effort wise if they will lose all their work anytime soon.</p>

<p>Test Copy is temporary in that it can and will be wiped from time to time.</p><p>The buffers aren't up permanently... they'll come down when the server comes down.  I was just trying to help folks test things out if they couldn't get copied over right away <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>However, you are correct that a reminder is a good idea <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I'll be sure to make a note of it in the Test Copy motd tomorrow when I'm back in the office.</p><p>Thanks <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
