Best Tier 8 Tank?

<p>Greetings,</p><p>This is a two part question: Best Tank for grouping and best tank for solo pvp, 1 vs 1 fights?</p><p>Ive seen all the Shadowknight threads for top tank/pvp, but curious about all the support for Paladins for tier 8. Crusaders seems to be the safest choice since you can bounce back and forth using betrayal options.</p><p>I also see some saying that Berserkers are tough at tier 8, so wondering how well they do up against Crusaders in 1 vs 1 fights? Also, if the warrior class ever gets updated like they did back on eq1, when all of a sudden they had insane melee crits, it would be worth doing them, but this type of update still could be 5 years away. For now, from low level perspective, warrior seems like a long walk to 80 just to be OPed by others.</p><p>I appreciate any info on the tier 8 fighters, since I havent gone that high yet.</p><p>Good Hunting</p>

<p>Solo same gear same skill SK will win over all others.  Same with group all things being equal.  Now with the right set up and proper gear other tanks are just as good if not better depending on the player.  There are allot of SK out there that do not really know how to play a tank but since they are the FOTM and OP atm its easy mode for them.  If the fighters are ever put on equal footing many of the current SK will be looking for group or looking for guild imo.</p>
