No feathers, or books, or any other kind of quest indicator is showing up on my map. I have the latest updated EQ2Map, and have looked in both the game options, and the POI options for a solution, but I haven't found one yet. I'm now doing a full file scan.

I have already tried adjusting the POI options on the map, and didn't see anything in the other options that addressed my problem. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

I've had the same problem since the last big update months ago. Feathers show on the old map system but not the new.

I thought about clearing the UI files and reinstalling EQ2maps but it didn't seem worth it. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I wonder if it's a bug or something specific to certain systems.

I had the same issue but it seemed to clear when I re-loaded the EQ2Map UI mod around a month ago. Now, I see the feathers again.

I wasn't too concerned about fixing it on my PC until self-mentoring goes in, but I want to verify that reloading will correct the problem.

We've seen that issue over at EQ2interface a few times. I don't think we know exactly what is causing it, but reinstalling EQ2MAP does seem to fix it for quite a few folks.

I noticed the same problem occurring when I installed EQ2maps (which worked/cooperated fine), and then placed Prophet UI on directly afterwards, which messed it up. It took a quick reinstall of EQ2maps to fix the issue afterwards.

I'm unsure if it's directly related to the issue you're recieving, but it might have some relevance!

In most cases, it's best to install the main custom UI (eg Prophet) and then use the EQ2MAP autoupdater afterwards. So definately try that route if folks are having issues when they install a full custom UI over top of an existing EQ2MAP install.

OP here.. I use the default UI (modified to my needs) and tried reinstalling but it didn't work. Next thing I'll try is deleting all the maps and then reinstalling again. I don't see quest indicators on either my mini map, or my big map. That includes quest updates and completions, not just new questgivers.

Sorry for the long delay in responding, only time to play on the weekends currently.
