I really really enjoyed the storyline in this zone, first time since Prismatic 1.0 I've really been interested in what comes next. Two thumbs up. I love when things unfold in game.

The difficulty was very easy, felt like VoES, but it seems intended for appearance gear which I think means it hit the mark. I'll probably actually get more mileage out of this zone running it for appearance slots for people than gear hehe and it's nice to have a zone you can take pretty much any group to.

The only thing I'd suggest is that Erolissi could really use some clothes and a unique model, she looked more like a huntress in the pictures I'd seen but here she was in a bikini and it really did not fit the scene at all. Mith looked awesome though.

You would have to lower the HP in the LVL50 Version of the Zone atleast by 50%, its pretty sick how many HP they got. In the time I get a singel 47^^^ to 50%, I can kill a LVL52^^^ Named in Clefts.

Mith looked awesome though.

Too bad there is no player wearable bikini. That would make the zone ten times more popular.

The Fauns and Named in the Lv 50 version are a little "over the top" in HP's. Takes forever to whittle them down without at least two strong DPS classes in the group.

Tried it initially with a small group of only three: Templar, Zerker and Monk (yes, non-optimal group, but those happen). As a trio, we could not defeat the named ones even after multiple tries. So we repaired our armor, recruited additional guildies (wizard and brigand), and then we could finally complete the zone.

Collectables quit spawning after the battle in the chapel... don't know if that was intended or not. We used evac to get back out into the main area and finish off the rest of the wandering critters for extra experience and top off the side-quests, etc.

I agree with a prior poster that Erollisi *really* needs a unique outfit, at least. It seems unlikely she'd be wearing less than her best under the circumstances in the story line, right? (Trying to avoid story spoilers here.)

Beautifully done zone, by the way. I like the gold and blue.

Thank you for adding this!

Only other thought might be to have a version for folk who want to learn the storyline but can't find a group. I was playing in off-hours, and had to wait several hours till evening when there were enough folk to get that final group together so the zone could be finished.

Sadly, I lost all the rolls on the wisp house pets. However, I plan to return if possible and give it another go... mayhap my luck will improve. *grins*

I did both the opening event and just did the SoL zone. I love the addition of both! ..

On the opening event .. I have noticed a lot of people having problems with the GF part. I unno why .. either I got very lucky or it actually made sense to me .. probably a little of both. I got the disco on the Questline on Test and the whole thing took me less than 30 mins, of course I am a Druid soo porting cut down on the time drastically .. but .. a few people in test have said it has taken them over 2 hours to do it 'cause of the GF part .. so maybe a little more of direct hint in the dialog would be helpful. *shrug*

One item of note .. I expect there will be a few under 50's upset about being able to do the opening event but not being able to do the zone. I understand the restriction and the scaling ability for lvl 50 ++ but some will be understandably upset, especially since they just got to do the opening questline and then were basically stone walled. Seems rude. Maybe the End dialog should mention something to the lowbies that 'while you seem a bit too young currently .. blahblah" .. of 'course that requires people actually reading it but still .. heh.

Shard of Love .. Are the Quests Repeatable every time you do the zone? I'm guessing (hoping) they are since it would seem that it would require the opening of the Chapel every time .. ? If they are not repeatable .. pretty please change them to be repeatable! Gives us something to do, other than straight farming, and extra [house items], and who can say no to extra [house items]?!!

Speaking of items can you please remove the 'No Trade' Flag from the [neglectful muck] .. AND .. the various Petmorph Wands!! If you want to limit them from the Open Market, since that would impinge upon Station Cash ( of 'course then SOE would know how Crafters feel about SC ) then change it to 'Heirloom' instead. Since the Wands require a 'Combat Pet' it rather limits the classes that can actually use them, further limiting in the way of who can loot them makes them rather useless as a reward drop.

Since this zone has only Appearance Items, the occassional Spell Update and [House Items] .. Please Remove any 'LORE' Tags on the various items. ie: Erolissi's Cloak of Ardor (very pretty cloak, btw!) *drool* on the Buckler ..

And, since this zone scales from lvl 50 ++ .. I'm guessing that the database is using a mix of same items and a few unique items per Tier with just different levels attatched to them based on the zone spawned .. would it be at all possible to put in a few random level 1 / 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 appearance items as well?

From a personal stand point .. I only have (1) Main and (1) Main Alt on a different account but have several lowbie alts that, while I am very fond of, I have no intention of leveling up past 30 but I'd do this zone over and over again to get a certain item, if it fit my lowbie's character and was useable by them. If the Pet Wands were changed to 'Heirloom', that's one thing I'd be after for my baby Conj/Master Sage and the Sai of Valor for my Dark Elf baby Dirge/Master Provisioner .. though her Valor is of a different sort ... and of 'course Erollisi's Long Bow for my baby Ranger/Master Woodworker ... ya see where I am going here? ..

I got a dropped item in the SoL zone that offered a quest .. got real excited about it .. then found out it was a quest for The Tower of Drafling .. apparently it's in the Loot Table of the Bees. Item: aITEM 821885305 162489170:a metal stinger cap/a -- Gives the quest "Deadly Stinger". Was bummed when I figured that out. I love random dropped quests and anything that might give me more of the SoL [house items] or App. Items would have been really nice! So, take note and think about adding something like that in for later!!

Item: ' spark of passion ' .. please change these to be along the lines of language updates. Where they don't offer the item / loot choice to the person who has already got the update.

For the ' neglected mucks ' .. how about changing that to be update per group instead of per person? Not a big deal if the quests aren't repeatable every time you do the zone but it would still be nice to not have to run around clicking thing s or waiting for the group to click things 5 x 6 .. just a thought.

As a previous poster mentioned .. the Named mobs in each of the Ring Events are drastically harder to kill .. or .. at least longer to kill. They seem to have nearly the amount of HPs that Epic*2 have .. a small down grade would be in-order, imo, for those groups that are less than optimal, which will be the norm past the 1st month of the opening of this zone as there are no 'Uber Stat' items. You want this zone to stay fun for years .. and .. I'd love to see the Plane of Mischeif come back as this kind of zone .. fun items, app items and of course [house items].

A very pretty zone, indeed, and as a hopeful suggestion .. would it be possible to take those circles from Love's Eternal Flame and Passion's Upper Portico .. didn't get much look inside the chapel but if there is one similar .. and have the Art Team turn those Circles into 'rugs'? And, I'd love to see the 'material' making up the little tents at Love's Eternal Flame to be taken to be made in to a Tapestry? (hopfully, with a more discreet banner holder than the one used in most Tapestries.. ). Speaking of Tapestries .. are there Tapestries with the various Cloak appearances? .. if not .. can we get those .. and I'd love to see the Heart Buckler also as a [house item] ...

I'm such a greedy wench! *grin*

Edit add: The Lover's Settee .. I think has the NoTD item description .. "A spooky decoratin suitable for any haunted mansion." .. and the Basket of rotting pomegranates also have that tagline.

I 2 boxed the zone with a dirge and a fury. With the same set up on live I have an easier time with OOA/AoB than I did with SoL. 84^^^ dont hit as hard and half half the HP that SoL 77-80 mobs do. The level 80 named griffon I had to try 2x because I had run out of power, something I never do on Live.

Personally I will do this zone one time on Live and prolly not go back. After the quest and exp AA it holds little intrest for return trips. I assume there are new pomagranet recipes for the harvestables so may go back for that. Unless there was rare/fabled appearance drops then I could care less about the current loot.

I did like the 6 new collection quests and the fact that once you do all 6 you combine for a diff reward. However I did not like do an 80 level zone for level 55 collection quests. Since the zone scales the quest items should also. All the ring event named dropped treasured and MM only dropped ornate. Not that it matters since everything was appear slot items.

The zone art and layout were nice I just wish there was a reason to return.

I have to agree. The amount of HP the ring event named have is a bit much...

Power regeneration effects definitely don't work reliably.

I like the vast amount of furniture and appearance armor in the zone, but there's very little in the way of anything useful otherwise. Some interesting equipment would be nice

I like that even the non-80 version of the zone has shinies.

Firstly, here is an item that I think needs to be looked at as the description doesn't match the item at all - the Chalice of Loving Incense is noted as being "a spooky decoration suitable for any haunted mansion".

The angel wings do in fact exist, we disco'd them on the Test Copy server this evening.
A couple of things I noted after running through the zone today:

The chapel doors remain closed after the Mithaniel Marr event.
I have no idea what's causing Erollisi's essence to be seen by some withi the coffin, and not others. We'll have to examine that closer. But I am thankfull that she is no longer showing up as a naked barbarian.

Thanks for all of the feedback so far!

I've completed the Shard of Love zone several times over the past week, once as a duo and multiple times solo.

I'm really enjoying the zone. The aesthetics remind me of New Tunaria (which imo is one of the best looking zones in game). Mob difficulty is just about perfect at level 80. And I really like the appearance gear, it's unique and looks great.

A couple of issues that I've noticed over the past several runs through the zone.

1. Three out of the last four times I've killed Woefulness, I was rewarded with a small chest containing a Petamorph wand. The rest of the named encounters in the zone appear to always drop at the very least a treasured chest, if not an ornate chest.

2. Thane-Malach. Not quite sure about this mob, maybe it's working as intended but I find that hard to believe. Sporadically throughout the fight Thane-Malach will reset the encounter. Two nights ago I made 16 pulls on the mob, 15 of which broke. Some were caused by a control effect that he casts called Stinging Control, which I suspect is a charm and since I was solo it makes sense that the encounter would break. However some were caused by the mob simply interrupting me while I was casting a spell, which I don't think is supposed to happen. Fighting this mob is extremely frustrating and time consuming, as I spent more time on this single mob than the entire rest of the zone.

3. The last issue I have, is really just personal preference I suppose. For those who haven't done the collection quests for Shard of Love, there are 7 smaller collections from the shineys harvested in SoL, those 7 collections each give you a collectable for a larger collection. I guess what I'm getting at is I'm a bit disappointed in the reward for the larger collection. I like house items, but it seems like alot of work to do 8 collection quests for a "draped bow of the shard". /shrug

I know the "naked barbarian" has been addressed, but in case you missed it...

Doing this quest on my evils, there seems to be a slight hiccup with the Priestess of Love during the access quest. When I go to the Commonlands to get my Valor Bloom and then turn it in to her, she tells me to wait while she completes the magic. While she does this, she has a book and a feather over her head that never changes, with no journal update. I hail her again and she repeats about 4 bubbles worth of the same dialogue she did when I turned it in. I have to hail her a second time for the quest to update and catch up.

Ok from what I have read there is nothing really to be gained from this zone but house/fluff/appearance items. I'm sure when it's live I'll be doing some runs with a small group of guildies and it wasn't intended to be made soloable by the average player but this is a little insane. I just tried going in two-boxing with a pair in t2 shard armor and halfway decent abilities and it seems to me everything cons about ten levels below what it really is. Outside this instance mobs of the level these claim to be would be doable. I'm a sucker for fluff items but the difficulty seems a little over the top. Just my two coppers worth.
