I haven't been able to reproduce this yet but we just experienced a large increase in people reporting connection issues. It seems like the login or session servers are experiencing an issue. I'll post an update if I receive any new information.

Ya, it sits at Connecting to Zone Server (which for me is currently Loping Plain), or it errors out at the Character Select screen [Removed for Content] "Server did not respond in a timely manner......"...

If you are already in game then you should be able to continue playing if you stay in one zone. Crossing a zone line will probably cause a disconnect if you're in the affected area.

Add Lucan d'Lere server, and north Idaho (Coeur d'Alene area) to that. I had to fight like mad to even log on to post this. I got punted from game with a horrid ping rate (like 3000 or so) and I've been fighting like mad to get back on. I did once, but got punted with a 2800 ping rate after 5 minutes. Logging on to post this was a real fight too, took me a half dozen tries.

Edit: I was in Obelisk of Blight, mentoring some friends. We went down a level via a teleporter, which caused a zone in porting from one floor to the next. That's when I started getting the awful ping rate and then got punted.

Same issue as above... I went from butcherblock mountains to GF and made it to the Kelethin guild hall where it sat at connecting to zone server before being punted back to the character select screen. Now I cant log in with any alts on my profile. Also my roommate says it takes forever for everquest 2 to bootup and log into his account. As well as i had some trouble just reaching and logging into these forums.

(Antonia Bayle Server)
