<p><img src="http://eq2.xanadu-community.com/images/items/2780.jpg" width="276" height="503" /><img src="http://eq2.xanadu-community.com/images/items/2944.png" width="277" height="431" /><img src="http://eq2.xanadu-community.com/images/items/2654.jpg" width="275" height="302" /><img src="http://eq2.xanadu-community.com/images/items/2483.jpg" width="276" height="301" /></p><p>Above are 4 weapons as they currently are on live.</p><p>Enchanted Dagger of the Warmaster - drops off evil avatars 88x4 epic - according to zam 10.714% drop chance, along with the avatar's  corresponding charm - 3-5day spawn cycle</p><p>Strategist's Field Dagger - drops off Field General Uktap in Ykesha's Inner Stronghold 88x4 epic - zam has it at 25% drop chance, along with random T4 Set Leg Pattern - 2d20hr spawn cycle</p><p>Ethereal Sabre of Voidbeast - drops off Absailus in Palace of the Ancients, not sure on level i think its 86x4 - 20% drop chance - 2day20hr spawn cycle</p><p>Empowered Talon of Milyex - drops off The Tangrin in Fens of Nathsar 86x4 - zam says 30% drop chance, with % chance to drop another item from loot table, which could also be a 2nd dagger in same chest - 5day spawn cycle</p><p>now with the gear nerfs currently on test... here is the new Enchanted Dagger, with the other 3 keeping the same stats</p><p><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/dsloan85/enchantedaggernerf.jpg" width="310" height="659" /></p><p>Call me a nut, but that seems like you knocked this item way out of proper item progession. seeing as it has the lowest drop chance, the mob is on the longest spawn timer of mobs in the current expansion. and drops off the hardest of the encounters listed, some might argue field general is tougher, i'll cover that later</p><p>Why the damage spread was touched at all is beyond me, it was just right in line with the rest of progession. then you cut the hit rate bonus from 5 to 2, it was the only thing that put it an equal footing with the strategist dagger</p><p>The field general is not really any harder than any of the evil avatars, the only reason he was killed that late in progression was his encounter was so buggy, with the sappers spawning in the floor or in the walls, and if i remember right the adds had a crazy high ammount of hit points early on. The sappers are so easily dealt with now, they are hardly a fail condition. But even if he is tougher, the strategist dagger is already typically regarded as better than the non nerfed warmaster dagger</p><p>please take another look and readjust the warmaster dagger</p>

I have both daggers. On live right now I pretty much only use the avatar ones on really orange/aoe content. On test I will transmute it. This item needs to be put back in line or removed from the loot table entirely.

<p>jesus why do they do this kinda thing? I mean, thats just crazy to take the best item and make it worse then instance content. I can understand a small nerf but they took that thing to far.</p><p>I gotta aggree here.</p><p>this is a piece of gear I personally will never see, I know, but on principle alone I see that this just too much.</p>

It was already situational. I don't mind that it sucks now, just.. take it off the loot table if this is what you're doing to it.

<p>One of several perfect examples that makes me wonder if soe actually looked at the items and compared them to their readily available instance counter parts or if they just said.  Ugh avatar gear, nerf it.</p>
