"Launch Game" not doing anything, and no message is given

<p>I just downloaded the trial version to this computer (which took forever if that has any possible relevance), and it now will scan the files and then I push launch game (or with autoplay on it launches itself) the screen flashes black for a split second and returns to the desktop. There is no message given and I can repeat that pretty quickly, which I imagine implies it's not even up anymore like it closes out after the black screen flash.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>Based on your description, it sounds like an anti-virus trying to quarantine the game or a computer below the minimum requirements.  Please provide some information about your computer specs and what antivirus you use, assuming you use one.</p>

<p>Sounds like you do not have DirectX 9.0C installed.  You can download the latest version from Microsoft.</p>
