What I would like to see is a container that I can put in a container that will hold all of my special items

The stones for Chardok, tuning fork, chelsith stone for Trak, the Sullionite(?) crystal from WoE and such. That way I can carry them with me without taking up a lot of inventory space. I am not looking for a large sack approximately 12 slots. Just to free up some space. Same thing could be done with potions/symbols. No weight reduction or anything else just a specific location to put those items that you use once in awhile but always seem to have in your bank when you need them.

On the market place I would like to see the wand of forgivness to erase experience debt. It would be especially useful prior to the expansion.

That is all but I am sure there are others that would like to see little items like this to make things easier or more organized.

So, you're sort of asking for a keyring type slot for special items.

I think those are fine as it is... you don't have to carry too many around, just throw them in a strongbox and carry that around. Or, if you are that worried about having lots of space, leave them in your bank and only take what you need for the zones or raids you are going to. I have less than 2 strongboxes worth of free storage on my main, I carry 2 full gear sets, potions, relics, quest items, etc.

With 36-slot boxes, you really can carry a huge amount of stuff. But the items you are talking about are so varried that I cannot see them making anything special for them. The only thing I would like is a keyring to "hold" those items that are definately 'keys' in the normal sense -- they're only good for opening something and they are not consumed on use. The Chardok gate stones, for example.

*drooooolllll*

Don't get me started on the bags within bags thing. I was a bag-o-holic in UO. I collected every box, barrel, backpack, bag, crate, pouch, etc. that I could find. I LOVED the UO inventory system. Best inventory I've ever had, because every few weeks, I could rifle through my bunches of bunches of containers to find things I had forgotten that I had. It was like Christmas all year! *dddrroooolllll*

I would love to see containers being able to be used from within containers, I just don't know how plausible it is considering, AFAIK, much of the game is "hard coded" at this point in the sense that too much is interlocked within itself that it becomes difficult to make changes without asploding things on accident. That is what I have heard/read/interpreted anyway, do NOT quote me on that, I have no knowledge of the interworkings of EQ2 whatsoever. *LOL*

Yeah, they've stated in the past that the EQ2 inventory system will not allow a container that is inside of another container to have anything in it, it's just not coded that way. A system like that in EQ2 would result in basically infinite inventory space (depending on how deep you could stack boxes-inside-boxes).

Key ring, I like that for the entry items or it would be nice to make them an Achievement rank then you don't have to carry the [Removed for Content] things around. I have tried putting all of those items in the bank and then when we do the raid I forget I have them and go to the raid and remember half way through. Then have to go to the bank FIND it in my bank and then come back which can cut into raid time. "I have the memory of a frog I blink I forget."

Make it so that killing the key mob or finishing the key quest gives you an achievement and then alter the door / zone-in conditions so that it looks for that achievement rather than the old physical item.

We need 2 new slots IMO that would work like the ammo slot.

Mount: where you would have a keyring (crafted in various space numbers) to hold the various whistles and such of mounts.

Bauble Bag: where you would acquire a bauble bag (crafted of various space numbers) to hold the various baubles like those mentioned above. I have 3 - 36 slot boxes on my main for gear, potions, signets, access items, etc. If you do a lot of adventuring and exploring you would be surprised what you end up with and no, that doesnt include the box full of mounts in my house vault /sigh.

I love the keyring ideas but I would be happy if they would just stop giving me quests that require me to actually carry items around with me in the bag. That was half the point of the quest journal system so that we didn't have to keep track of (in my case) a bag and a half of random quest bobbles. I never know when i'm going to get the chance to finish one so I just drag them all along. For those triggered effects like Leash that they love so much, just give us a darn skill like catalogue and be done with it.

Or a craftable charm that works sort of like a AA mirror.

You could attune the items to the charm and have them all in one.

Something like the "Lucky Charms charm."

Shape it like a rabbits foot.
