A blade for my monk

<p>Hello Monk fans</p><p>I been searching around for ages.  i been looking for a sword / blade for my monk to equip.  but cant seem to find one anyone. even if its just for apperance.</p><p>i did see some kind of blade of the shadow lurker. but it looks like these aint in the game no more. can anyone suggest where or what type of blade i can get for my monk.</p><p>thanks</p>

<p>The only one I know of that is still obtainable is <a href="http://www.lootdb.com/eq2/item/489040346" target="_blank">Greenmist</a>.  It's from a TSO HQ.</p>

<p>There was a set of swords that monk/bruiser could use, they were part of the Void event... They were Katanas if I remember right</p>

<p>some of the crafted/dropped weapons are Large Katars and have a "blade"  but if you want a sword I think the only currently obtainable one is the Greenmist HQ one.</p>

<p>I have the shadowlurker blades (from the world event that introduced the void storyline), and kept them since before there were weapon appearance slots so I could use them one day. They look cool on your side, but tbh when using them, it looks more like you're fighting in an old pirate movie than a katana-wielding martial arts flick (to me). It's not quite what I was looking for. So after trying it, I still prefer the hand weapon animations when fighting.</p>
