One of my characters is sitting in a Large Qeynos Guild Hall on Nagafen server and every time I have tried to log him in tonight I have been kicked back to character select. It seems to stick on "connecting to zone server". i have logged an alt in and there are people sitting in the GH so the server isn't down.

Any ideas?

Greetings,

This sounds like a router issue. If you are using a router then try bypassing it so that you are plugged directly into the modem. That will tell us whether or not the router is causing the problem.

I'm also have the exact same problem here, was on and about to raid when it just kicks me off, and keeps saying "Connecting to the zone server" and then just goes back to character select.. I also get the msg that the server may be backlogged? Not sure what's going on here, but myself i cannot bypass the router since it's a router/modem in one. Already tried resetting it etc, and still the same problem.

It's not my router....why would it affect one zone on one character and not the same zone on all characters?

I also cannot bypass the router as it is a modem router.

Edit: the problem seems to have resolved itself overnight. I don't mean to be rude, but you really need to try a bit harder than saying "it's a router problem" when someone with limited technical knowledge but applying logic can see that's rubbish.

Troubleshooting has to start somewhere >.>

If it was real time then that sort of troubleshooting wouldn't be a problem, however replies can be sporadic and hours apart which would make the problem lengthy and frustrating. And no, I can't call them direct. I live in the UK and the cost is prohibitive.
