Hello Everyone,

I just got back into crafting and I wanted to find some quests. Being a level 25 Carpenter (75 Adv), I found the Journeyman Service quest to be suitable for my skill set.

Here is the problem, though. None of the grandmasters will talk to me. I live in Kelethin, but also tried Qeynos as that's where I originally had citizenship. I only have a whopping 1,650 faction with Tunare's Pages, but I haven't read anything stating that there is faction involved to initiate this quest, just level 20.

Any ideas on what I'm missing? Obviously an oversight on my part. I'm good at having my eyes glaze over when I should be paying attention

The Grandmaster in Kelethen is as you leave the first platform by tunare's Sappling.

He's been moved to the crafting hall, but won't talk to me. Tired of reading forums and giving up for the night

Maybe tomorrow will magically be better?

Did you already do the first quest? If so, the next one isn't until level 30+.

There's a minimum level on these.

http://eq2.zam.com/wiki/Category:EQ...ipe_Book_Quests

Don't have to be L20, you can be past it to get that quest.

The only thing I can think of is for Vendolyn to check her journal and see if she's not done it already and just forgot. I've had that happen a few times myself.

Just checked to see if I did indeed do this quest back in the days of my provisioning. I did take a year and a half off, which makes it easy to forget about quests. All I could find were writs in the completed section.

Think I should /bug it? Wanted to pick a few brains first, to see if I was skipping something, but now I'm out of ideas.

Edit: This is the quest I'm trying to start. I don't see anything regarding prereqs, faction, etc. I read everyone's forums last night trying to come up with a solution before posting here. Getting a tad frustrated ;p

Huh. If you can do writs for the TS faction that you're trying to get that quest from, you should be good. The only requirement I know of is level 20.

I'd /bug it. I'd also /petition, in case there's something obvious on the back end that maybe CS can help with (but somehow I doubt it).

Seems for once I'm not having a dumb momement where I'm forgetting to do something. Might not be able to play tonight, but I'll try to log in just to /bug.

Thanks everyone for helping me figure out it's not me for once!
