ProblemMy GF recently bought a new PC (DxDiag info posted below) and her first priority was to get EQ2 installed and running. It runs great, with one exception.With GPU shadows enabled there is a very clear division in areas that are bump mapped and areas that are not. The division starts from the lower left and cuts a diagonal across the screen to the upper right. Everything in the lower right half of the screen lacks bump map. Everything in the upper left has bum mapping.The image below clearly shows the problem.<img src="http://www.xanadu-community.com/sfh/4440/EQ2_000001.jpg" width="1235" height="623" />She tried other games that use GPU shadows, and this problem can not be found there. The effect still persists. The latest drivers have also been installed. We also switch the graphics card with an identicle one (we got one each), the problem was present with both cards. Trying a different operating system won't be as easy.I'd really love to find a solution to this problem. Same problem on a Vista 64 system when the graphics card is moved over. I could try it on an XP system, but don't have time right now.Seems the problem is the HD 4870, would love to know if it is just a compatability issue with EQ2, a fault with the graphics card, latest catalyst drivers, etc.No one else has this problem?
