A couple months ago, I had to completely wipe my hard drive. My motherboard up and died so I had to get a new one.

Now, I have a new motherboard, but still running the same graphics card. I have 2 nVidia 7950 GX2's and an integrated nVidia 8200. The 8200 is disabled, so not really an issue. I think.

Anyway, the problem. When I load up EQ2, there will either be some major flickering or some heavy tearing on the screen. I've updated and reinstalled all the current 'Microsoft Sanctioned' drivers for my graphics card. All of Windows updates are up to date...No viruses or anything that AVG can detect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice now, same thing.

When the monitor crashes like it does, I have to do a hard reset to get it back on.

Any help here would be hot.

Thanks.

Greetings,

Some of the recent Nvidia drivers have had issues with the game. I know you're using the version recommended by Microsoft but I would advise using the version suggested in this knowledge base entry:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=16089

I actually experienced the same flickering issue with a recent version of the Nvidia drivers. Switching to the recommended version resolved the issue for me.
