When doing the housing update, I think that dev's need to consider correcting some mistakes of the past.

Number one on my list is the cracks in the walls in large homes in freeport. It doesn't add any authenticity to the game anymore. It's just an annoyance that keeps me from properly placing paintings because i have walls clipping through them. One would think that after a character got rich to a certain point, they could hire some goblins to patch up the cracks and make nice smooth walls to work with.

Number two on my list is the lack of retexturing walls in Gorowyn, Neriak and Kelethin. We should be able to choose the same as we do in q and f

Don't forget Majdul. You can't change the textures there either, but if they added textures to those places, they should add those places as textures for Q & F too.

I think I remember one of the devs saying something about how only Q & F will ever have textures.

I also think it would be of great help if the Guild Hall Amenity "Portal to Player Housing" included a right click>visit option to visit guildies' homes. No, it's not far to run most of the time, unless someone lives in neriak, gorowyn or kelethin, that is.

Given that the housing update is scheduled for GU53 (and should be hitting test Soontm) I'd hope many of the little annoyances (like cracked walls and uneven walls in the Qeynos houses) are already done, if not it might be too late for them to change too much.

As for the retexturing, they've already said that that will remain Qeynos/Freeport housing only. Apparently the system is either a major pain and/or takes a rediculous amount of time to do compared to housing without texture options so a long time ago they pretty much said that they're leaving it as it is and not to look for it in any future housing (or in any expanded fashion).

(look at this thread after all, i started it and i know it's nit-picking.)
