Greetings,

Are you using some kind of custom user interface? If you are, check to see if any updates are available. Also, do you experience this issue less if you lower your graphical settings?

Using profit Ui. Its fully updated. I'm sure if it was a profit issue more people would be noticing it. I mentioned it in guild chat and several others are having the same issue though.

Most of the crashes I see related to loading LoN are out of memory crashes. Keep in mind that loading LoN through the game requires loading one client on top of the other. With certain hardware under the right settings, it could cause a crash.

Does LoN crash when you try to load it through the stand-alone client? You can get that here:

http://legendsofnorrath.station.sony.com/

I dont think its memory issue. I used to load it all the time with no problems. Same guild hall and everything. Normally when i crash with a memory issue. I get told as such. IE out of memory request x or something to that effect.

This crash is a straight up runtime error. It calls the path name of what crashed but i'm not 100% sure what file it is atm. I want to say it was everquest2.exe I'll try to get it to crash again and pay attention to the file name.

*edit* Filled in the correct file name.

I am getting this exact same problem. I always have. Recently I resub to EQ2 and it's still happening, also I dont even use a custom UI, it's happening on a fresh install. Graphics settings dont have any effect I can turn it to the lowest and I still get the runtime crash.

My Machine is more than powerful to do it, anyone got nay ideas here?

Greetings,

If you're experiencing this issue, please check your graphics card settings. Make sure that your color quality is set to 32-bit. Some people have had crash issues when opening the LoN and browser windows if they are running in 16-bit color mode instead. I imagine that you are running 32-bit already, but please check to confirm.
