shard gear

<p>k i know it is probably to late to change shard gear now on my bruiser before the next expansion comes out, but why is the wilderness better than the abandoned gear for dps? i cant see why people like the wilderness more for dps. can some on explain this to me.</p>

<p>Because the Wild Cry set has more +combat art on the pieces, and the set bonus for the wild cry includes +base spell dmg and +base combat art damage while the jin drake set adds/decreases threat and adds a bunch of riposte.</p><p>Did you even look at the items?</p>

<p>The DPS set is better because the stats ahev a little bit more DPS  based stats, as well as a set bonus that gives extra base CA damage.   Additionally, the T3 set shoulders give +9 CA damage instead of +8 like the T3 tank set. </p><p>   Overall, I'd suggest mixing and matching some of each.  the tank set is a solid set, and the T3 patterns are easier to come by, whereas the T3 DPS "Hybrid" set patterns are more rare.   For that reason I'd say get your tanking set first, and get the DPS set afterwards, whenever you can get the patterns. </p>
