Crashing on character select screen

<p>Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me with this. First off all my drivers are up to date, my settings are really low and this problem just came out of nowhere.  So the problem is that my computer does a complete restart whenever i go to the character select screen.  I will log in and the screen will come up, I can interact with the screen but after about 5-15 seconds my computer will just go black and restart itself, no error message no wierd crash noise or screen just a plain old restart like i did it myself.  I cant seem to figure out why this is happening so i was hoping someone could help me.  Thanks in advance!</p>

There is a Startup And recovery box, click on settings and remove the check mark from Automaticly Restart, on the next BSOD copy the text and post to the thread.</p>

<p>The blue screen message will certainly help us figure out what is going on when it resets.  That said, the most likely cause would be a heat issue or a driver file that has been corrupted.  Also, let us know if you have performed any recent hardware upgrades.  If so then it could be a power supply issue.</p>

<p>Ok so no new hardware upgrades of any kind, and this computer used to run EQ2 just fine for years until i reinstalled it this time.  I made the blue screen come up by doing what was said and strangely enough it was completely blan k no message at all.  However after the computer restarted i got a computer recovered from a serious error message but it to was blank which i found strange as hell.  I really have no clue what is happening here.</p>

If so it will not display the crash text. You need to turn off the automatic restart in case of crash. If you don;t know how to do this, take a look at my earlier post for the instructions</p>

<p>I let the blue screen sit for about 10 mins before restarting the computer and nothing ever came up.  And how do i view the system log or event log so i can attempt to find the error?  I really appreciate the help btw I really want to play EQ2 again but this crashing is killing me.</p>
