<p>I don't know if anybody else is having this issue but my guildies and I, and everybody that I've talked to on the Qeynos side on Nagafen has been having rediculous zone times lately.  Everybody is getting hung up at "Receiving Zone Info" for 5+ minutes at a time.  I've now been zoning to Moors for 6 minutes, and previously was zoning for 5 minutes trying to zone into Loping on the way to Zarakon before it finally kicked me through and let me zone in, as was the case with the rest of my guild.  This has been happening for about 2-3 weeks now, and lag on the server as a whole has increased close to 3 fold. </p><p>This is really getting borderline unplayable.</p>

<p>Thank you for the laugh I needed it after restarting, rebooting, etc. thinking I was the only one , but no low and behold there are many stuck at receiveing zone info . So thanks for the laugh and 25-30mins later I am finally in dare I zone again......</p>

<p>Don't feel bad misery loves company even from the Freeport side.  This is highly annoying.  Just want to let you know you are not alone in zoning issues.  Most everyone seems to be having it also.</p>

<p>Oh yeah and if you camp out only to find the server off line and then have that message dissapear you get the error message is "The server could not find your character.  Please exit and rerun the patcher."</p>

<p>I spoke with the lead of the in game team and she told me that they have open tickets with the ops team related to issues with Nagafen.  I also noticed that Nagafen doesn't seem to be resolving to the standard American server location(nagafen.everquest2.com).  Instead it is resolving to nagafen.everquest2.co.uk.  I'm going to contact the ops team and see if I can get somre more information here.</p><p>At the moment the answer is that this is a known issue that they are working to correct, though.</p>

<p>It is pretty ridiculous.  This has been an ongoing issue for almost 2 weeks now.  I can't fathom how any company can let such a huge issue that affects thousands of people be a problem for so long.</p><p>Had this happened with World of Warcraft, I guarantee you Blizzard would have the issue resolved within 48 hours.  Going on 2 weeks now...</p>

<p>The time is now 9:50.  Our raid ended at 9:10.  It's now taken us 40 minutes to get to our next zone.  Currently we have 30+ people totally locked out of being able to zone.  Most are waiting for zone info, a few were lucky enough to actually get in, but if they try to zone again they are stuck with the rest of us.  Some of us logged back in to a completely empty set of hotbars. </p><p>We're likely 10-20 minutes away from actually getting everyone logged back into the game and able to get into our next zone.  This is assuming I don't just cancel the rest of the raid night.</p><p><strong>This is the current state of nagafen for the past week at minimum.</strong> </p><p>So lets do this, <strong>fix the login server</strong>.  This is not an isolated problem.  It still doesn't resolve to nagafen.everquest.com and still instead responds to nagafen.everquest2.co.uk.   You're making the paying customers on the most active server in your game very disapointed with the lack of response on this issue.</p>

<p>Ya this is getting nuts, I can zone 3 times before i have to restart the game, because it gets stuck receiving zone info. I guess ill  pick my favorite zone and just play there until they fix this..</p>

<p>This also is happening frequently on the butcherblock server - I have noticed it among other guildies and players as well we get stuck on the receiving zone info for longer than normal!</p>

It happens on all of our computers, which range from XP boxes with 2GB of RAM and NVidia 7600 series cards, to Windows 7 (RTM) with 4 gigs of RAM and Radeon 4850 cards.</p>

<p>Worse than ever today. Every single time I've changed characters I've gotten the error message about the server being down and then the game quits completely. Zoning times are terrible. The problem is even worse on my older machine.</p><p>And a dev only checks in once a week to tell us that 'someone is looking at it.' I wonder if the issue isn't a problem with resolving to the 'wrong' server, but that Sony has purposely routed Nagafen to the UK server.</p>

<p>My night so far tonight:</p><p>6:30 get kicked out of game.</p><p>7:10 finally get back into the game and use the rally flag to make my way to YIS.</p><p>7:30 still trying to zone into YIS.</p><p>Raids started 30 minutes ago and we still haven't made it into the zone because of the horrible state of the servers and lack of fix.</p>

I can understand that difficulties can arrise in any product, but we're essentially paying for a broken product right now. Only seems reasonable that we should be awarded something for baring with you while you take your time addressing this issue.</p>

<p>this is happening on Befallen too.  Stuck at recieving zone info, kicked back to character select, 'sorry, you have a character in world already', and rinse and repeat.  over and over and over.</p><p>It's much worse today (saturday) than it has been in the last 3 weeks combined.</p><p>#$%@ this is annoying.</p>

<p>I was having the same problem on Oasis.  I checked the Task Manager and noticed that StationLauncher.exe was using 82% of my CPU.  I am now logging directly from the Everquest 2 folder in Program Files.  It was taking 2-5 minutes to zone, but now it is 15-20 seconds.  Might be worth a try.</p>
