Try closing and starting the patcher again? Which patcher do you use? Launchpad or Station Launcher?

I'm not at home, but if I remember correctly this happens if you have a damaged file patch.? (don't know the ending) in your packs directory. Try to delete this file and patch again.

Also check to verify you have enough free space on the hard drives, this error can occur if you are out of disk space

If all else fails, and you're using Windows Vista, can you try these two solutions?

Fix 1: (Vista Only)1. Right click on Station Launcher icon and go to properties2. Go to the compatibility tab3. Click on "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select XP Service Pack 24. Check "Run this program as administrator"5. Click Apply6. Right Click on the Station Launcher icon once again7. Click "Run as Administrator" Fix 2: (Vista Only)1. Make sure you are logged in on an Administrator account.2. Navigate to the Station Launcher folder (Usually c:program filessonystation will contain the Station Launcher folder)3. Right click on the Station Launcher folder and go to properties4. Click on the Security Tab5. Click on the Edit button.6. Go through each username or group listed and make sure all "Allow" boxes are checked7. Ensure that no "Deny" boxes are checked and click OK.

If you did then my suggestion would be to complelely delete the folder you have created (well technically the launcher created). Your Sony folder that is. Then restart the downloader. I would suggest going to the main EQ2 website and clicking on "reinstall or download". That one seems to work fine for me on Vista and I never have any issues. I do know tho my friend is also having issue's reinstalling the game. I will ask him what he did to fix it when he gets back.

TSR-KenC wrote:

If all else fails, and you're using Windows Vista, can you try these two solutions?

Fix 1: (Vista Only)1.
