Basically if multi core is checked after it goes to zone in EQ crashes and says, "forced to close". The only way i can get logged in is unchecking this option. I saw an old thread the other night as was the only way i knew to disable that feature.

Not having a issue with Intel processors, did have a issue with the I7, but that was resolved with a driver and BIOS update from the motherboard manufacturer. Prior to the patches I just turned off Hyperthreading in the I7.

Only crashes the application. I have the latest drivers per Nvidia. Maybe I need to try a beta driver or another?

I have heard of good results when reverting back to an earlier version or two.

If you can try backing down one version ofthe drivers as Ken suggests and see what happens. Remember on a back down of the driver, be sure to uninstall the current one, boot into safe mode and run a driver cleaner to make sure you get rid of any remnents of the currently installed driver, it could cause some really wierd results if you don't

Greetings,

As mentioned, a driver issue seems likely in this case. You can find the list of recommended drivers at the following link:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=16089
