Patcher freeze / download loops

<p>My config settings for ports, UAC etc... <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt4S21XIKac">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt4S21XIKac</a></p><p>My launchapad as well as station launcher are both freezing up.  Launchpad continually downloads the preloader files for the launchpad itself and then freezes during the initializing phase  once I log in.  Station Launcher downloads the patch down to 158mb exactly then freezes.  Upon resuming the download I get repetative errors stating that station launcher cannot connect:</p><p><span > </span><p>will attatch screens later when I get off work. </p><p>any help is appreciated</p></p><p>Primary error Im getting is:</p><p>Unable to load network configuration from: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com/patch/lp2/eq2/bundles.xml." target="_blank">http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:8...q2/bundles.xml.</a></p><p style="text-indent: 0px; margin: 0px;">Station launcher will try again after 30 seconds.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>I watched your video and I have a few recommendations:</p><p>1) Do you have a an antivirus?  If so, run a full virus scan to check for malicious files and then make sure it is disabled next time you start the game</p><p>2) You have a DMZ on 192.168.1.100.  I have that same router and I believe it starts assigning IPs at 192.168.1.101.  check your ip address through IPconfig and try setting the DMZ to that address.</p>

<p>Where do you have the game installed to currently?  If the game is installed in the program files folder then  you might want to try moving it somewhere else.  Moving it somewhere like C:GamesEverquest 2 should be fine.  Anything in the program files(or x86) folders will have extra security placed on it and that could be part of the problem.</p><p>Also, have you tried searching for and deleting the files is saying it can't download?  It may be a file permissions issue and deleting the file will usually allow you to download in that case.</p>

<p>I moved the sony folder into C/allusers/games</p><p>I cant isolate a single file because my patcher doesnt even get passed the initializing phase, and station launcher just gives web adresses roughly associated with the file its having an error downloading.  It has something to do with LON every time so I deleted my entire LON folder and am trying to DL 500+mb patch, i garuntee it wil still freeze on 158mb  remaining</p>

<p>confirmed, station launcher downloaded from 500+ mb down to 158 on the dot without problems, then it froze.  Does that isolate a problem?  I completely reinstalled the patcher, same issue.</p>
