Launcher Issue 8/5/09

<p>I have tried repeatedly on two different computers, and using two different accounts to log on tonight.  I keep getting the same error at the scanning phase it says unable to load network configurations from <a href="http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:80/patch/lp2/eq2/filesets.xml">http://lp2.patch.station.sony.com:8...q2/filesets.xml</a> is anyone else having issues of this manner tonight.</p>

<p>I've been having this problem as well. Shutting it down and retrying over and over results in it catching and connecting eventually.</p>

<p>Also having the problem, I cant patch through the normal patcher either, once I log in and it gets to the file scan page the program completely freezes.  Ive opened up all my ports, disabled firewalls/antivirus etc and nothing works.  Downloaded station launcher and it updates periodically (before i couldnt even get station launcher to work) but I keep getting the same error stating that it cannot connect.</p><p>error 1:</p><p>An unknown error has occurred while updating.</p><p style="margin: 0px; text-indent: 0px;">Please try again. If the problem persists use the Help menu above for more info and help.</p> <p style="margin: 0px; text-indent: 0px;">Station launcher will try again after 30 seconds.</p><p style="margin: 0px; text-indent: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px; text-indent: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px; text-indent: 0px;">I get tons of random errors but if i spam click retry it eventually connects for about 30secs then I get another error.  Like I said I have been troubleshooting this all day.  Opened all ports, running as admin and running in XP service pack 2.</p>

<p>i am also having this problem since yesterday despite happily using launcher beta since april and launcher proper since mid july.</p><p>so from yesterday i get a pop up saying 'fatal error' has occured when i initially click on station launcher; have tried to download a different version (a version of launcher that comes with SWG trading card game recommended in another thread) and this only produced the 'unable to load' error referred to in the OP.</p><p>have therefore gone back to launchpad by launching game from everquest2.exe file which works fine. i think i am going to stick with it til launcher issues are resolved</p><p>:/</p>

<p>same here and the original launchpad freezes on the initializing screen so I have no alternative to playing.  Have wasted 36 hours trying to find a fix for this, tweaking port settings, reinstalled, everything...</p><p>seems this happens every time I decide to come back to EQ2, then a week later after giving up it miraculously works somehow....</p><p>glad to see its been hours since this was posted and STILL no response from sony.... suprise suprise -_-</p>

<p>This seems to be happening accross all games, so it's likely something is either broken within Station Launcher or the patch server.  We have notified the proper people, and will either get it fixed or come back with a solution asap.</p>
