All I can seem to found about AA spending is about the Crusader tree (mainly), but what about the Shadows tree?

Where did/do you put your points in?

(both Tank and DPS spec?)

I took For Shadow

Battle Hardening, Enhance Rescue(may switch to the swing) and Sneering Assault

Phalanx, Knight's Stance (this one is godly), Valor in Battle, Aura of the Crusader

Forced Following, Knights Counter, Blessed Warding(good aa), and 2 endlines.

TSO Line specs vary depending on what you're doing in-game. I tank more than anything else, so I've specced mine to that goal. Now, I'm also not yet raid-geared, so I use my AAs in ways that a T4 or avatar-geared tank doesn't need to.

Base Line: Hearty Constitution 5, Enhanced Mind 5

Pretty much everyone does this in the base line. There's no real reason to choose any of the others.

Fighter Line: Consummate Defender 5, Battle Hardening 5, Sneering Assault 1

Most seem to choose Rescue or Swinging Strikes instead of Consummate Defender. I like the defense one, though. Once I get enough +defense gear to put me at the cap without that bonus, I'll probably switch this to Riposte Mastery or Rescue myself.

Battle Hardening is something every fighter should take, period. A flat 250 (though my persona window actually says 247) reduction on physical damage taken is just incredibly useful. Sneering Assault is basically a lower-powered rescue with a shorter recast, and so very useful for a tank or offtank spec.

Crusader Line: Cavalier's Call 5, Knight's Stance 5, Valor in Battle 5, Phalanx 5, Aura of the Crusader 1

Some skip Cavalier's Call, but I like it. It kicks the heal bonus from Crusade (Master) up from 5% to 6.2% raidwide. Honestly, it should kick it up to 8%-10%, but I can live with 6.2%.

Knight's Stance is absolutely necessary regardless of what your paladin does in-game. You just can't say no to a 25% weapon damage increase. Phalanx is ignored by a lot of "dps" paladins, but I say it helps even someone who doesn't tank at all in mitigating some of those AEs. The mythical with Knight's Stance and a decent fabled shield is better than any 2-hander I've yet tried. Of course, 2-hander itemization in RoK/TSO sucks anyway.

Some swear by Cavalier's Cry, but I tried it, and honestly didn't see a 10% reduction in stifle effects... Plus, I've got Aura to get rid of most stifles anyway.

Aura of the Crusader is a lifesaver, especially for tanks and soloers. Even a dpser gets good use out of it, as they can Aura out of a group-wide stun and keep dpsing. Combining Aura with Cure Spells (from the Paladin:Support AA Tree) means you can pop out of a stun/stifle with aura, cure the healer, and let them cure the rest of the group.

Paladin Line: Forced Following 4, Blessed Warding 5, Knight's Counter 5, Stonewall 2, Faithful Cry 2

Just about everyone chooses (or should choose) Blessed Warding and Knight's Counter. Blessed Warding increases the Str bonus and gives the regerating ward, so it's useful to tanks, soloers, and dps'ers alike. Knight's Counter is beneficial to dps'ers as well as tanks. The dps'er doesn't care as much about the riposte bit, but getting 10% strikethrough chance is pretty nice.

Stonewall sucks, but there's always that chance that you can pop it right before big hit that would kill you. I probably wouldn't take it if I wasn't tanking, though (I suppose it could be used to "joust" an AE.).

Faithful Cry is nice for multiple playstyles as well... Soloers don't care about the threat, but they love the damage and the heal. dps'ers are the same, as long as they know when not to use it Tanks, of course, slam this one constantly.
