so for tanking, wich weapon do you prefer? I think I saw quite some people stating that the Paladin Epic isnt anygood and the Soulfire is the better tanking weapon (mainly because of the +5 block chance I presume), but I see almost every tank with the Epic...

I started working on the Soulfire and now im wondering whether I should continue that or concentrate on the Epic more...

Soulfire Gladius: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Soulfire_Gladius

The Truth of Marr: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/The_Truth...f_Marr_(Fabled)

Just do swords to be swiped over and over, Pheep hit the nail on the head one post. Its what I did. 5k faction repeatable, get it kill some iksars, have a druid port you to KJ turn in and come back. Rinse repeat. 40k in no time You may have to do Steel to be Stole once to get the repeatable but its easy street if you do it.

One other thing to point out, just for down the road, is that while getting your fabled ToM is tedious (of course, most of them are), the mythical is relatively easy. The mobs that you need are Imzok in PR, Tairiza in ToT, and Hoshkar in VP who happens to be one of the easiest dragons to kill in there.

No one in your guild is interested in trying to get the Bloodthirsty Choker? That's some pretty serious /fail right there, particularly for DPS classes. Yeah, it's going to get nerfed next expansion, but that's still 6 months off. Tell them I said they need to quit slacking already.

You need Imzok from PR, Tazira (or whatever the heck the spider's name is) in ToT, and then Hoshkar in VP who is hands down the easiest dragon to kill in there. You should be able to find pickup raids for both PR and ToT and have a pretty reasonable chance at success. So you'd need to find a Leviathan raid to get flagged for VP, and then the Hoshkar kill. Those last two you might find it easier to just pay for updates, since VP is still really not doable by most pickups (specifically the Nexona fight).

You definitely don't need a full 4 groups for either one.

I have to say I don't know unrest, but on AB there are a lot of small raiding alliances that can do VP. Try asking around and see if there are any that you might be able to get into. In PR you'll probably be just another body filling a slot, depending on your spec you might be the perfered tank for ToT (I keep wis spec around just because RoK had so much fear).

I really dislike the idea of paying for a spot in a VP group. If the group you run with does VP even once successfully they should be able to go backwards and get to Hosk relatively fast. That's way easier than trying to deal with Nexonia. Well, that is if there is a conj around or everybody uses self-port items if they arn't flagged to use the teleporter.
