Hi guys,

I just bought a new computer that should be very up 2 date. the specs are the following.

i7 920 D0 CPUasus geforce eng 295 gtx phyx Grafic card (tryed latest and older drivers)

crosair domainator 6 gb ram 1600 Ramasus rampage II gene Motherboard

Intel SSD HDthermaltake tower 120 cpu cooler.

Software: Win Vista 64 bit Ultimate

My old computer:

Cpu: 6600 Duo duel core OC 3,4ghz

Grafic card : Ati 4870 (512 mb i think)

Ram: 2gb Crossair Dominator

MB: Asus striker Extreme.

Software: Win XP PRO 32bit SP3

Now the problem is that mostly it seems that on the same spot i am getting like 10-15 FPS better with my old computer compared to the new one. Even standing in a guild hall with almost no one around my fps is like 15-20 on the new computer.

On both the computer i play on resulution 1920x1200, [Removed for Content] quality setting on profit ui.

Hoping for some help here since i dont know what else to try.

Tyvm in advance.

Xues

Could be a driver issue, or the power cable that connects to some cards could be unplugged.

is your card plugged into a pci 2.0 x16 slot? i had a problem with my alienware comp where they had plugged the cards into the x8 slots, think it depends on your motherboard. and my boost in performance was close to double. and at what speed is your processor? stock? also even with the extra ram i found vista to just play the game pretty sadly. i am on win7 and it is much better.

You've provided a great deal of info about your computer just in your first post, but could you post your DxDiag information here as well? There are a few more areas of information in there that can be useful for troubleshooting such issues.
