settings utility error

<p>Hi there ive just tried to do a fresh install eq2 on my laptop (vista 32) but i am getting an error that says "please run the EQ2Settings utility in the same directory as the game is installed"</p><p>i have searched the net for an answer but cannot seem to find one, i have looked in the eq2 dir and i can see a file called "eq2settings.exe" but when i try and double click that i get the same error even though it is in the game directory.</p>

<p>for anyone who has this problem i have just fixed it, running as an admin and in xp com patability mode did not work (but i have read it helps the game) what seems to have fixed is was to disable the UAC from msconfig, just the 5hours now to download patches i need :S</p>
