Sending tells to people in EQ1

<p>I have been chatting to friends playing on the new mayong EQ1 server quite happily for the past few weeks but it seems now they cannot reply to me for some reason. They can see my tells to them but the replys do not get through. I am using /tell eq.mayong.charactername and they are unable to reply..</p><p>Any help would be appreciated!</p>

<p>We just tested it out and it is only working when typed in the following format:</p><p>[tell EQ2.Servername.Charactername</p><p>Using a forward slash, like listed below, doesn't seem to work at the moment</p><p>/tell EQ2.Servername.Charactername</p>

<p>Anychance you can see if this is unique to splitpaw. Lots of people seem to be having problems with receiving tells from not only eq1 but also other eq2 servers</p>

Lots of people seem to be having problems with receiving tells from not only eq1 but also other eq2 servers</p></blockquote><p>It looks like the problem is based on the Mayong server.  I created a new character on Splitpaw and my friend created a new character on Mayong.  I could send him a tell but he couldn't respond.  Then I switched to my main character on the US servers and he still couldn't respond.  Finally we had him switch to a character that wasn't on Mayong.  That other server allowed him to respond.</p><p>I'll pass this along to the appropriate people but I would advise submitting a /bug report as well.  It would probably help if your friend on Mayong sent the /bug.</p>

<p>splitpaw dosent seem to be able to communicate with other EQ2 servers as well. could send tells to it but no one could reply back.</p>

It is both Guk and Nektulos that the Mistmoore server can't get in channels.
