<p>heya folks.</p><p>one year after i stopped with eq2 im back for some funtime in here.</p><p>just updateing since 10 hours and its still 10 hours display to be finished.</p><p>i got a 20mbit connection. servers seems to be prett slow hm ?</p>

There really hasn't been any constant applied though since everyone's system and internet connections are different.</p><p>I reinstalled from scratch today on a third computer and it took 2.5 hours from CD install to Logging in.</p>

<p>I've had a similar experience to Spyderbite's. I've never had installation of EQ2  from scratch take more than 2 hours and unfortunately I've had to do that ...6 times I think in the past year or so.</p>

It's said the station launcher is much faster.</p><p>Other than that check you antivirus software (turn it off to try), your firewall settings (also turn of to try) and your network connection (try to plug the pc direct into the dsl modem). If all this doesn't help, then most likely either your ISP does some sort of traffic regulation or you have a slow connection to SoE. Usually the server at SoE are fast enough to handle your request, hence others are having expected downloadrates. Internet can be a horrbile system to track down connection issues <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
