<p>Ok if your launcher will not start up, will not update, or will not update the game you want to play, then try the below.</p><p>Reboot your computer (you have to do this first!). If you have the launcer setup program still then run it and tell it to remove. If you do not reboot first then this will do no good. The reason is the launcher LOCKs a number of application files in the launcher folder so that they cannot be deleted or moved. The remove function of the launcer setup program will NOT tell you this. You will simple believe that the uninstall was successful when in fact it was not.</p><p>Once you reinstall the launcer and launch it the program will go to a web page and try to update. Ok another problem happens here. If you are watching the update part in the upper left part of the web page you will see that you need a plugin (hmmm but SOE why was the plugin not included in the launcher setup?). Click it and let it install the plugin. Once it finishes the launcher update will start automaticly and you should be in the clear. Now you can launch the launcher (LOL) and update your fav SOE game and start playing again....At least until the next problem.</p><p>Here is the link to the launcher setup download program for anyone that needs it.</p><p><span style="color: #008000;"><strong>launcher</strong>.station.sony.com/ </span></p>
