Have you also tried to run EQ2 using the game-specific launcher instead of the Station Launcher? If not, you can try playing the game from the launcher at this link.

I do not see it checking for any kind of patch. Will this become a problem in the future or is it checking and I am just missing it?

It should still be checking for any patches - I don't believe there was any changes to it recently on part of the Station Launcher being the new big thing. The patcher wouldn't let you in the game if it wasn't sure you were up to date so I believe it's working as it should for you.

My client version does not match and the error wants me to patch but does not give me any indication as to how. The game is NOT checking for any updates. So can anyone provide me a link to the launcher that actually works or a direct link to the current patch?

The station launcher boards are indicating that this is their most common issue at the moment. You should be able to correct it by uninstalling the station launcher and then reinstalling with the following link:

http://launcher.station.sony.com/pl...ebInstaller.exe
