K I have been looking through the forms and cant figurer out what is the most important melee stat for us. i have found some saying that it should go melee crit>DA>haste>DPS, then some i have found said DA>Melee crit>haste>DPS. so what is the most important one. i have been currently trying to increase my DA because my melee crit is at a 61% and so far i have brought up my DA 12% and have noticed about a 700-1000 point increase, so should i keep heading towards DA over Melee crit or not?

Brawlers are like sorcerers and predators in that a lot of your combat arts have very wide spreads. Maximum damage on some of them is as much as 3.5x the minimum damage. As a result, melee crit gives you the most bang for your buck. Double attack is great and all, but you can swing twice and do less damage than you do with one crit. When comparing equal amounts, melee crit will net you more dps than double attack will.

Of all the stats I would say melee crit is most important. Bruisers do have the highest damage range on combat arts of all the fighters so having more chances to crit will be very benefical. Also melee crit affects both auto attack and combat arts.

Double attack is also nice to have but it only affects auto attack and not ca's. It would be my second choice.

Dps mod would be my third since this stat is the hardest for me to be maxxed in even in most groups. Higher dps mod = more powerful auto attack. Nice to have this when those da's go off.

Haste is super and for me seems easier to get than dps mod in equip and groups.

One thing with bruisers is the nice growth we are allowed since we cannot self haste or increase dps when properly equiped and in the right group. Our ceiling for dps growth is good.

one thing to keep in mind since TSO realse mobs will have crit mit (making meele crit less powerfull than it used to be). mobs (and people in pvp) can not stop DAs and I know I do about 50% of my damage from meele. not saying meele crit isnt important but DA is a great way to boost dps, and has recently come alot closer to topping crit for dps boosts. I currently have alot more DA than crit and ZW 6K+ on palace trash with spikes of 9K+.

my 2c,

-Eb

Mobs don't have crit mit, people do.

Crit is still king, DPS and DA are equal unless your close to 100 on DPS, then it begins to diminish on it's returns. Haste is ok, but the thing is you can ojnly use one haste item, so get yourself one good haste item (Over 30 Haste) and your about good to go there.

Don't forget Strength. STR is one of those stats that affects everything, and if you aren't capped on STR, you shoudl try to be. Aim for 1200 STR when raid buffed.
