'Aight, this is starting to bug me... My voice overs aren't working... well, most of them anyway.

People like Murrar Shar and the people in that questline in Qeynos, and The people on the newb island for the evil people aren't sayin' a word, they just get a speach bubble like everyone else... And it seems most quest NPCs that are supposed to talk don't. Callouts in freeport don't say anything either, but there's still ONE ratonga in the Temple District of Freeport that seems to have kept his voice.

I've played around with all the voice over toggles and things in the options menu, and I'm wonderin' why this is happening, and if this has heppend to anyone else. Could it be because I uninstalled EQ2 at one point, and just recently installed it again via the internet, and something didn't transfer correctly, but it's really annoying... I want to hear that barbarian say "By the hilt of the CLAYMORE!" again >.<...

check your options, this may or may not be it, but there is an option under audio to only play voice overs once...probably not it, but I figured I would mention it.

Good luck, hope it comes around for you.

Most VOs were once an optional download, which isn't so much the case as of the newer launchers. So I'd also think Saihung23's suggestion is right. Let me know if it doesn't appear to be the case, though.

The new station launcher (Version 1.1.1 Build 797810 - the latest) still has some of the downloads optional. After you logon, go to Station, Preferences and highlight Everquest II there are options to download Optional Content, City Voice Overs, Combat Voice Overs and Quest Voice Overs.

I stand corrected in this! Thanks, Wingrider.
