<p>the error shown is normally a driver error, either the video driver has an issue or is corrupt, or the sound driver has an issue or is corrupt. Driver issues would be my first guess since the OS is still not officially released and drivers are still work in progress.</p><p>If I would hazard a guess, would suspect the sound driver is base cause for this issue. Especially is you have a sound device by Creative Labs. Running on a test box that has a Nvidia 260 and a realtek sound device with very few issues running eq2</p>

<p>Update:</p><p>Ran EQ2 for most of the day today, no crashes. Once I loaded up my 2nd account, the primary account crashed.. (its always the primary client that crashes)</p>

<p>I run on Windows 7 Release Candidate and never ever had one single crash. I'm running it on a Dell XPS M1730 and played for hours on end without one issue. The game runs much smoother on Windows 7 then Vista. That being said; does not mean others can have issues, just my 2c.</p>
