Server Select Crash

<p>My friend was going to join me today but he suddonly couldnt get in the game when he was making his char, it all went to heck when he was going to login to Blackburrow. The program becomes unresponsive and so far we have had no luck fixing it. Firewall is down and everything that could get in the way is out of our way. I dont understand cause im sitting beside him on my dell xps vista laptop and i am having no problems. I put all the eq2 files on a removable harddisk, and he dragged them over to his stationary. I dont See how this could cause the crash but im just trying to give as much info as i can. Any help would be great thank you in advance.</p>

<p>Since the files you copied also contain your setting files, one of the settings you copied might be too much for his computer to handle(or at least incompatibile with it).  You might be able to resolve that by deleting those settings file from the Everquest 2 directory you sent him.  Here is the list of files:</p><p>cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini</p>
