Question about in game chat.

<p>Chat has been working fine for me on my XP sp2 machine until the last update.   Since then, whenever anybody keys their mic if im in chat, my game slows down or lags to the point of not moving at all.  When they release their mic the game does a fast forward to catch up, casting spells, running me off a cliff, leaving me 3 rooms behind the group.   If I turn off chat entirely I have no lag issues at all.   Can someone tell me what has changed, or when it will be fixed?</p><p>Thanks.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>It seems likely that the port range used by the game or voice chat has shifted slightly.  If one of the ports is blocked then it will slow the whole connection down as it reroutes around the blockage.  If you're using a router then try bypassing it so that you are plugged directly into the modem.  Let us know if that fixes it so that we can help you set up that router to work with the game.</p>
