After the hotfix, and I still don't have my researched master spell

<p>I just logged in after the hotfix.  The spell i spent 29 days researching, and received a letter saying research was complete,  is not in my spellbook,  and there is no option to pick it up at the research assistant.  As per developer instructions on the former,  I did start researching another spell while waiting for this fiasco to be corrected.  Well,  it is still not corrected.</p>

I believe the only way they will know if you are having problems is if you submit one.</p><p>That gets your toons name on the list of ones to look into and fix if applicable. even though he says the script is running, if they don't know you have this  issue then you still may not get the support you seek..</p><p>Just an fyi..</p>

They got right to working on the problem, assured us they had the data and we wouldn't lose anything, stayed over until the wee hours of the night.....I dont' call that a fiasco.</p><p>In any case, it was my reading of the messages that the hot fix was an attempt to take care of things fast, for everyone and not to have to have CS go one by one by one by one.</p><p>But, they still CAN go one by one by one and I'm sure whatever didn't get taken care of last night, still will.</p><p>In the meantime, we're still able to start learning the second one. The odds are whatever spell we didn't get (yes, I was one who didn't get the spell from the RA, but did get it fixed in the script reun last night), we've been without for eons, a wee bit more time for a FREE master spell is worth the wait.</p>

<p>Fully Mastered before the RA came out.  Farmed zones, traded others, and spent lots of plat on those spells. Now the RA comes out well *())&&* i want my plats back. Why cant I get master spells for doing nothing at all, It's not fair I tell you, not fair at all.  Oh wait there is that nice necro pet i can have the RA get for me...... never mind.</p><p>Come on folks, it sounds like my three year old granddaughter in here when she doesnt get what she wants. So what if it bugged out. Its being fixed, its not like you had to do anything for the spell anyway.</p>

God, not this again. Seriously people, if you worked hard for something, through questing, grouping, adventuring, whatever, the reward was broken or didn't come, AND SoE was doing nothing about it, then I think you have reason to use the word "fiasco" or complain. Yet there was much more hand-wringing about Research Assistants which is a completely free thing you get for doing NOTHING but hailing an NPC twice, than there was about The Shadow Odyssey Signature quest (one of the hardest quests in the game) only giving 1 reward when for months it gave 2. Chill out and you'll get your free master soon enough.

<p>If I had a nickel for every time Noaani misspelled, and a dime for every time Noaani beat the RA horse, I'd have my subscriptions paid through the end of the year.  ;)</p><p>Back to the OP -- unlike some other game bugs, I'm pleased SOE has tried to address this one so quickly. Once a feature has been added to the game, it deserves attention commensurate with the scope and severity of its game impact.</p>
