I used to spec down the wisdom line for lunge reversal, etc for tanking and avoidance was around 9900 ish which translated to about 61.2%

Last night I respecced and went down the sta line for the shield and avoidance is nearly 11000, which translates to around 61.5%

i think figures maybe slightly wrong as I'm at work, but what puzzles me is the percentage of around 61% for avoidance even though there is an increase of around 2k once I respecced with a shield.

If their both showing around 61% avoidance does that mean I would tank the same?

Any help much appreciated. When I get home I'll post the real figures.

Cheers

So the stats are: Spec: Wisdom Line (off hand empty) Mitigation: 50.20% Avoidance: 9792 / 61.2% (Base: 51.2, Block: 0, Parry: 20.4) Spec: Sta Line (with round shield) Mitigation: 53.2 Avoidance: 10440 / 61.4% (Base: 45.9, Block: 13.6, Parry: 17.5) based on those figures I'll only improve my avoidance by 0.2% and Mit by 3%. Does that sound right ?
