Legends of Norrath crashing me

<p>About 50% of the time I attempt to play LoN from withing EQ2 it crashes me to desktop with a runtime error.</p>

<p>Greetings,</p><p>What color settings do you have in the graphics card control panel(256/16-bit/32-bit)?</p><p>If you have the color settings at 16-bit then that can cause a crash issue when opening the LoN window.  Try setting it to 32-bit if that is the case.</p>

<p>One of the UI files may be corrupt, causing this issue.  You might want to try removing the following files from your Everquest 2 directory:</p><p>cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.ini</p><p>Also, are you able to run LoN by using the stand alone client?  You can get that at the following site:</p><p><a href="http://legendsofnorrath.station.sony.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://legendsofnorrath.station.sony.com/</a></p><p>The download link will be on the left as you scroll down the page.</p>
