<div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;">I thought about posting this on the In Testing thread, but since it not technically in testing yet I figured here would be a little safer.</span></span></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;">With some of the changes that I am hearing about, summoners getting debuffs for magic and rogues getting debuffs for physical attacks, I have to wonder if there is going to be given any thought to itemization in our new role.  At the moment, Brigands have set bonuses that increase duration of dispatch (not sure about any others), and they have AA lines that increase the effectiveness of the debuffs.  Now that summoners are going to be getting the ability to debuff I am curious if there is any thought being given to these other two areas with regards to that change specifically.  I know at the moment Summoners have some "useless" AA lines, ones that may or may not have any usefulness in the future with the changes that are occurring.</span></span></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span>I am still skeptical about the changes that are being proposed, I want to see them in action before I pass judgment however.  But I think if this is planed well, this could potentially make some of those useless AA lines in our AA trees useful once again.  But thats just me thinking out loud... <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></span></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span>As for itemization, if summoners are going to be made more desirable because of our debuffing skills, we should have some of the same advantages given to rogues.  If you have X number of raid set pieces you get Y duration increase of our debuff.  It would just make sense that something like this would just further our desirability. /shrug</span></span></span></span></div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span>Anyway, just my thoughts, have way too much time on my hands at work these days, idle hands and all that... </span></span></span></span></div>

<p>I'd rather just having the master version upgrade the debuff to max. We are already lacking in the DPS department to have to choose between damge and utility when choosing our AA spec.</p>

<p>Thats the whole point of AAs though, having/making a choice to increase in those areas that YOU see fit for your style of play.  I am just voicing an opinion that if they are going to be giving us this "utility" to help make the class more desireable, they need to also consider giving us ways to increse that desireability through itemization and adventuring like they do for the other classes who have a similar role at the moment.</p>

<p>Most of our aa's are bad enough as is, to remove the little bit of added damage we get from them in exchange for some extra debuff power is a lame request.</p>
