Rainbow things...I can't remember what they are for..

<p>You know...you're running around Antonica* harvesting, exploring, and questing when you see this rainbow sprite looking thing coming up out of the ground.</p><p>I can't remember what the heck to do there....its only been a year since I last saw one :P</p><p>What the heck do you do there again?:)</p>

<p>You can buy Scrying Stones (I know a rat on the TS docks has them), then you use a stone while standing in the rainbow, and it starts a "slot machine" type process that picks colors and intensities.  If you get the right color combinations, and in bright enough intensities, you can win interesting prizes (more scrying stones, or coins you can sell, or random antique treasures)... but you might also disturb a corpse that rises up and attacks you.   They are used for a quest in Thundering Steppes, but you can use them at any time to see what you can get.  I've personally used hundreds and hundreds of scrying stones trying to get all the "training tomes", which give simple kill quests.</p><p>And of course, I ALWAYS carry around my "a well preserved ancient clown shoe".</p>

<p>There are 2 quests in game (that I know of anyway) that involve rainbows, there is one in Nek Forest too by N'Mar's ascent that gives you a few stones. I remember going crazy trying to find them because I had to get 5 of those coins off them (after a zillion rainbows I found out you could buy it off the broker for the update). They aren't bad to hit if you feel like keeping stones on you and are doing old quests in those zones, or on alts. You can sell the non-usable artifacts you get to the scry stone sellers for same or more than the stone cost, and when I was leveling transmuting I was hitting them, lots of treasured junk drops off them, which used to be really good stuff!</p>

<p>Speaking of the possibility of getting a tome, I got one. But I click on it and nothing happens. I already did a tome quest once but I can't activate this one. Anyone knows why?</p>

<p>Two possibilities.... either you aren't the right class (It's broken into the 4 archtypes, Outrider = Scout, etc), or the quests no longer work (which would be unfortunate).</p>
