Network Error

The Station LaunchPad is unable to connect to the network at this time. Please

try again in a few minutes.

It has been 2 hours now. I have reset my network, and unplugged replugged everything in. I have system restored to last night, and still, this fookin error. I rarely EVER have a problem with game play but this is absurd. I get off work, ready to raid and can't even log into game .

Help

I'm having the exact same problem. Network is fine and I even turned off the firewall etc but the launchpad imediatly gives that same error and won't continue.

I can confirm this.

I logged into EQ2 on my lunchbreak (around noon CT and played until around 1pm CT). I logged off, went back to work. Arriving at home at 6pm CT the patcher will not even attempt to run. Upon saying "loading" it gives the exact error message mentioned above. Nothing has changed on my computer between noon and 6pm.

I have disabled the windows firewall, and still no go.

I am able to connect and play the game just fine by launching everquest2.exe.. bypassing the patcher.

I am on Windows Vista 32 bit.

EDIT and UPDATE: The patcher appears to be running just fine now... I didn't do anything that would fix it. It seems to have cleared up on its own.

It looks like there was a hiccup with the login server that caused this issue. I believe it has been corrected at this point and you should be able to log in now. Let us know if that is not the case.

Came here for the same "unable to connect" reason. Looks fixed now though. Thank you Daniel.

I have been unable to connect all day today. I have tried and tried. I rebooted my computer and checked everything, it still doesn't work. I went to my wife's computer, and I log in fine. When I come back to my computer, it keeps trying to log on to all the different servers, then says the servers are down try in a few minutes. This makes no sense that I can get on my character on one computer and not another, and my computer works fine for other games that I have, and EQ2 worked last night.....

Any suggestions?

I'm STILL unable to connect and have not been able to since Friday. This is 2 days now and the same thing keeps happening. Is there anyone who can help me? It just goes to attempting all the different login servers, then says all the servers are busy, try again later?

Greetings,

The responses before my last answer was actually a different issue than the rest of this thread. It sounds like the recent responses are being caused by a firewall issue. Please open the exception list for your firewall and delete any entries for EQ2, Everquest 2, or launchpad. Then restart your computer. Try logging into the game again after the restart(right click and 'run as administrator' if using Vista). Then select 'allow' whenever prompted. Hopefully that should correct the issue.
