Howdy,

Which would be preferable for duoing with a paladin? Ive heard that dirges are melee oriented buffers and troubs are caster oriented buffers... but the paladin is melee AND a caster w/ heals and such (if I understand it correctly).

Im leaning towards dirge but dont want to head in the wrong direction.

Thanks for any help.

Ive had the chance to duo with a dirge in my guild and we were pretty good the only thing I would suggest and I ran into this before is keeping the heals going for the both of ya and keeping agro on the pally.Other than that you should be fine. I dunno about the duo Troub and Pally since I havent been able to duo them yet.

Dirge definately, despite how paladins have both spells and combat arts, dirges buff tanks and add to survivability more than a troub would. I've duo'd with both and either are ok, but dirges are better for a tank.
