I'm having a problem with my 3 main hotbars not holding the size I set them to. I have my main 3 set to size 44 and the rest of the ones I use set to 3 different sizes ranging from high 20's to 37. But every time I set the main 3 to 44, I can log out and when I log back in thay are back to 40. I use Profit UI but I use the standard hot bars.

Anybody else having this issue and if so, have you found anything to fix it? I have been giving the answer to delete my UI setting files but that should not be causing te problems. Besides I do not want to have to go back through and setup all my UI's again for all my toons.

This is what it's supposed to look like.

And here's what happens once I log out and then back in. (Notice the 3 main hotbars have gotten smaller)

I don't have a true solution, but I'd suggest saving a copy of your UI setup when it is correct, then if it messes up, at least its easier to restore. Just use ALT+O, click save and give it a name. Then if it resets you can go back to ALT+O and load up a copy of the correct UI settings. Annoying, but at least it helps.

Alternatively, I always use the same UI setup on all my toons, so once I have my UI setup correctly I login the alts and use /load_uisettings to copy the UI over to them all. Then if something breaks (bank slots anyone?), I just use /load_uisettings and copy the UI back and its usually fine again.

To properly fix it, it would probably require removing your uisettings file for your toon and recreating the ui from scratch, which I am personally unwilling to do yet again...

Sounds almost like your changes to the uisettings are not being saved over sessions. Have you tried moving the window around some after you resize it? I'm not 100% sure just resizing triggers a save to the file, but moving the window around a little bit should.

Oh, and make sure that your EQ folder where the ui settings are stored hasn't somehow been set to read only...
