I am assuming the answer has been posted, but I cannot find it with search. With a new expansion coming out in the next year, and the age of the game, is there any chance normal subscribers who might have all level 80 characters and tradeskillers filling their slots will get a extra character slot or two?

I know I could get the extra slots bypaying for the "special subscription" and get to see info that should be free, but I digress. Frankly I cannot see paying the extra money for that, especially not since I am already tightening my belt so to speak in the current economy.

If this has been discussed by a dev, please point me in the right direction.

The issue for me is that I created some chars that are now L80 in their TS. But I have no intention of playing that particular class.

If they're not going to expand the char slots, it would be dandy if we could save a character's TS level before deleting him. And then when we start a new character, just transfer his TS level over. I'd be fine with relearning all the recipes, faction, status, etc. It's not like you'd have to save a lot of info, just "80WC".

The perfect solution would be a class reset to L1 and 0AAs, but I understand complexity of "scrubbing" a character clean. The deletion & transfer shouldn't be that hard though.

I agree with Grumble69. I have a full set of level 80 crafters with fully maxed Tinkers and Transmuters. Because these toons go back to my earliest days in EQ2 when I was still learning the adventure classes and starting city alignments, two of these are troubs (one Qeynos, one Freeport) and several others are in classes duplicated by non-crafters (I have three Station Accounts.)

It didn't matter much back then, but now with faction grinds important to crafters, it's much easier if the crafting toon is a level 80 adventure toon. It's been posted that an adventuring class change is not possible. What I'd like to see is a way to transfer the level 80 crafting work to an new adventure toon who the crafter could then level as an adventuring toon without losing the long work done to earn level 80 crafter status.
