Hey all,

Been meaning to respec my Sk but wanted to know what your thoughts are on a good AA spec for a non-raid, group based speced Sk would be. I will be mostly playing with a good group of friends so it will be mostly Group specific doing instancs and heroic content. You feedback would be most appreciative. Please also explain why you think this would be a good build for this style of play.

Just so you know I am Legendary geared with Adept3's. I have some Masters and 1 peice of Fabled. (My shield)

Thanks in advanced.

If you are the tank for the group. (And why wouldn't you be)

Crusader Tree

INT 4-4-8

STR 4-4-6-8-2 (maybe 4-6-4-8-2 if you don't need the extra aggro)

STA 4-4-8-8-2 (DA is a must for a casual player imo)

SK Tree

Reaver > Pools of blood > Hateful Respite

Train each line how ever you see best for your group/play style.

Shadows Tree

How ever you want. The only "must get" abilities are...

Crusader: Knights Stance, Phalanx, (end)Aura of the Crusader

Shadow Knight: Dark Knight's Protection, (end)Furor and Siphon

The end line abilities on the Shaodws SK tree are really great. Get them ASAP.

Order of attainment of end line abilities is up to you. I personally would go..

INT to max crits > STR > Reaver > DA > what ever tickles your pickle.

At 135 you should have Aura of the Crusader trained as well as my suggestions for the 'Shadows: Crusader' line. If not dump points from Respite or pools to get my suggestions for that line. Then go back and fill respite and pools back up as you push to 170 to unlock the Shadows: SK tree.

I did int and str, but i only have room(41/50) for 9 points in STA meaning i cant get DA. I'm only 59 ATM. Does my cap increase or something? Or did I do something wrong?

is it worth it to put points in the agi line for the AE melee attacks? was talking to some people on my server and they recomended maxing that out and then going down the sta line last as much as possible, with the only end line aquired being the str endline.

For group play with no raids, I'd go:

STR: Get end ability, putting points in hate depends on if you have a dirge or coercer or something helping you out.

AGI: 4-4-8 The 40% aoe attack is real nice.

STA: 4-4-5 No room for more melee crit

INT: 4-4-8

ok, that is more or less what was recomended to me and it looks like a solid set up, my main is a ranger though so still figuring out what is good and what not, the only thing that I have really done different from what I have seen here is that I went for reaving first as I was leveling this character up solo from scratch, and the extra healing has helped a lot.

IMO

DA > AoE melee for groups (and vital for PUGs) until you have enough points for Furor.

Once you get Furor, do what ever as you will rarely use DA any more.
