Server Timeout?

<p>When attempting to log into the game via the EQ2 launchpad, I revieve an error message saying that there has been a network error and that the server is not responding and to check my connections. All the proper ports are open, I'm connected to the internet and not behind any firewalls. Any solutions?</p>

<p>Running a firewall?  If so, open the exception list for that firewall and delete any entries that contain the words Everquest 2, EQ2, or Launchpad.  Then try to restart the game again and you should be prompted to allow or deny the connection again.  Choose to allow it. </p><p>Make sure that you start the game by right clicking and selecting run as administrator if you're using Vista.  If not, it will not give you the allow/deny message.</p>
