<p>Does the pushed back schedule and focus on Live mean that classes will actually get full work overs before the expansion launch? There are many aspects across a large swath of classes that are broken or otherwise useless and have been for years (e.g. rogue wis line, troub power drains,inquis reactives, melee priests needing to invest xx AA points before really being such, unusable summoner utility...). While it's understood class balance and fixes are a continual process, it would seem based on the announcements from FF that class balance and fixing the "junk" should now have a much larger focus.</p>

<p>MONK CLASS</p><p>Since the Fighter revamp was scrapped and many of the fighter changes were actually positive for Monks. When will we see Fighter Revamp 3.0 or any changes to the monk Class ??</p><p>Something that would make Monks more viable in a raid would be the ability to Cure Curses - since this seems to be a big part of raiding and sometimes the healers curse cures are down. Of course I don't want to be a cure bot, but just throwing another idea out. I guess desperation is setting in as TSO has been rough on Monks with the lack of AE aggro abilities. Don't be shy - come visit the Monk forums.</p><p>I'm hoping for changes before the next expansion.</p>

<p>With the announcement of the Summoner/Predator changes at FanFair, specifically with regards to the debuff changes. Will these changes be a part of the Feb. 2010 X-Pac or will these changes be tested and released as a part of an upcoming GU? I would hate to think they would only be available for testing in Beta prior to release.</p><p>Thank you.</p>

<p>The whole diety system had a lot of potential but there just doesnt seem to be too much emphasyis put on them any more. Are there any plans to give the dieties more importance or will it just be something that fades away like the Arenas?</p>

<p>With critical types being consolidated, what will happen to AA lines which increase specific crit types? For example, crusaders can increase spell crit and melee crit via different AA selections, with spell crit being substantially higher than melee crit. What will happen to these AAs after the crit consolidation?</p>

<p>Can the devs please look into an option to select whether you ranged auto attack, or melee auto attack in between CA's? I know you can create macros for /autoattack 2 etc. after a melee CA, but the lag in raid zones really messes it up, and it gets very frustrating as a ranger for my auto attack to switch back to melee auto attack every other time I use a melee CA.</p>

Will the developers revisit the fighter classes so that each of the 8 will have a more specific role (not clones of each other -- e.g., Paladins becoming mini-Guardians but without the benefits of one, and seriously underpowered in comparison to dps or even mitigation a single-class Guardian would have).

Given that the heirloom tag seems to be applied with the assumption that all characters can make use of it, are there any plans to either allow exiles to use the shared bank (especially since the shared bank has been extended to characters of opposite alignment), allow heirloom items to be mailed, or allow exiles to return to their old city without giving up all their skills? Those such as myself who made the choice long ago to live in Haven had no way to know that the game would be changed, forcing us to choose between a sudden new lack of functionality or losing all our master skills.

Some of the changes are good but it just makes EQ2 feel more like every other game that is out there. Stop trying to compete. Advertise a little.</p>

<p>What is the damage rate of the Befriend Animal line in Ranger AA? A tripple heroic befriended animal gets ground into the mud by a regular, two levels lower mob. Shouldn't the damage rate be equal to that of its level?</p>

I realize Shard of Love is coming, but there seems to be no indication from the Dev team that Erollisi will be worshippable any time soon. Of the remaining unreturned gods who were worshippable in EQL, Erollisi is by far the most popular; very many of us built EQ2 character concepts around Erollisi worship and have been waiting patiently for years as nearly every other deity made his way back to Norrath. We want to know when our long religion-wide nightmare is going to end. We fear there will never be any resolution for us, doomed to wander the proverbial desert forever as must the Halflings, Dwarves, and Gnomes who wish to regain their homelands.</p><p>Powers &8^]</p>

<p>any plans to merge some normal servers and add in a progression server and a hardmode server.</p><p>then eq2 would have , rp servers,pvp servers, normal servers,exchange servers,progression server and a hardcore server <-- game for all playstyles <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" /></p><p>i know alot of people will dissagree with a hardcore server, but it helps in 2 ways ,1 ) it lets people who want eq2 to have a stricter death penelty(shard loss and reduced stats for each lost) ,have achievements that aren't diminished becuase they make the game easier overtime,to have to travel everywhere possible by mount(except to places you cant like KOS or TSO), want to be in a group nearly everywhere(yes make outdoor zones 90 % herioc mobs) , have grey mobs still agro you , no mentoring, etc etc etc ,,, all the things that make an MMO more like a living breathing virtual world(danger at every turn, and high costs for your mistakes, but reap the benifits when you succeed). 2 ) on normal servers any raiders that want to brag and belittle casual players can be told to go play on the hardcore server if they are so Uber : )</p><p>since the trend is to try and follow WoW, and make everything easier , and nerf things down overtime so everyone can achieve/buy nearly anything in the game . the hardcore players are left bored/burnt out on eq2 and so they go play othergames,and then they get bored of those games/burnt out becuase there is no game they can just sink thier teeth into(like they did in eq1 back in the day) and always have a challange to rise to when they log in, that will never be made easier overtime,a place they can play in for 10+ years on just one character.</p><p>yes vanguard could have been that game, but meh that game has been left to rot. and instead we just have 2 Eq2's.</p>

<p>Why does the brawler defensive avatar chestpiece (Wu's Enlightened Chestwraps) have HALF the critical mitigation of all other avatar BPs? This bug made it live when the nerfs planned with GU51 were reverted, and it has persisted for months with no word from the devs.</p>

<p>This may not be the right thread but couldn't find a better one. I would like to see a 3rd sub-class crafter, idea: a Harvester class, this would be a class that would be used ie. a farmer (obviously can't use that nmae..LOL)They would plant flowers and food to harvest, food would benefit provisioners, flowers would benefit all, to expand on each...the food would be any of the harvested food u would find in the shrubs and would be able to plant and have a bounty available through planting them, the flowers however would be somewhat rare and able to be planted and if upkeep is excellent and planted correctly to each other be able to create a hybrid which could be used for an adornment specific to resists since the class is using nature in general. These would be either an additional adornment that could stack or a significant resist result vs. 100+ at T7/8 which is nothing. This incorporates the ww or carp in making sm/med/lg garden or planter boxesfor this class to use...also it would be nice for them to get some sort of harvesting bonus even possible rare harvest boost! And thoughts on maybe expanding fisherman maybe??? Haven't put any thought to that quite yet.</p><p>Also, would like to see playable tables ie. card, chess etc...that can be used in homes and halls, to include portable ones that can be used for down time while camping...NOT Farming!</p><p>Last but not least...for the love of god can we allow status reduction for halls?!?</p><p>Thank you, that'll be all.</p><p>MIG<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" /></p>
At the fan fair some developers were heard referring to TSO as "The Shadowknight Odyssey", are there any plans to work on any of the other fighter classes prior to the expansion?

Also to fix class abilities that are useless, or even when buffed with AA that remain VERY situational. Here is a small list. Inquisitor only, as I cannot speak from another healers perspective sorry.</p><ul><li>Inquisition: It gets resisted a lot AND uses the mobs heal crit. Absolutely useless in PVP as it heals the opponent aswell, and is curable. What other heals are curable?</li><li>Enhanced Fanaticism: It should no longer carry ANY penalties, to have to spend 5 points to get that, not to mention the points you must spend before that to open the AA up.</li><li>Maladroit: Who even uses this??? Perhaps change it to lower ALL of the opponents detrimental effects by 25-50%.</li><li>Damage reactives: Nearly useless in PVE. they get resisted FAR too much in PVP, even when the target is debuffed and using M1 debuff, M2 damage reactive. Please change them to be castable on self or group friend and proc off of the same conditions.</li></ul>

<p>Will raidwide buff behavior ever be changed to allow multiple copies of the same buff to exist at once but not stack (like grp buffs do now)?</p><p>It's sort of unfair that the SK 6 piece TSO bonus works on their raidwide 'buff', so if you have multiple SKs with the set bonus in a raid only one of them can actually use it. (Not to mention the annoyance of having my Lucan's Leadership master constantly canceled due to some idjit with Apprentice or Journeyman...) Note: In spite of me mentioning SKs specifically this affects ALL fighter raidwides, it's just most annoying to SKs cause our 6 piece gives us 5% Mitigation while we have Bloodletter active (I don't see any OTHER class with a set bonus that's unusable if there are 2+ members of that class on a raid...)</p>
<p>In the future, will you introduce small group instances like 3 men instance?</p>

<p>Any chance of enhancing Rescue to be an AoE Taunt rather than just another encounter Taunt. Basically any mob whether in the encounter or not that is within a 5-10 meter range gets hit with this AoE taunt.</p>

<p>In AoC there is not only a friend list, but also a maybe-soon-to-be-friend list, ie. you group with a completely stranger for something and you will get the next few days notifications about logging on etc. If you do not group with them again or put them in your real friend list their name will fade away. Do you think this could be a valuable addition also for eq2?</p><p>Edit: Oh, and thank you for answering last months summoner question! Are there any plans for some fun, not to difficult, scaleable content for x2,x3 or x4 groups? I.e expand upon the guild-city-raids. Something where 12-24 guildmates can get together, regardless of level, playstyle, experience, gear and have fun together. making the current city-raids scale to 3 or 4 groups and adding to them would be great. Rewards dont have to be amazing or even that great, just make the instances fun.

Appearance items are all the rage these days, as is pretty apparent. I loved dying my armor the perfect shade of forest green on my halfling cleric way back when in EQ1. I could see it being implemented here. I remember coloring your unmentionables at the character select after EQ2 launched (even though it was kind of silly, as you'd only see it if you weren't wearing any armor!) I could see making a completely white armor texture on an old wireframe with the ability to tint the color with an RGB picker, such as when you pick your hair color, etc. You'd probably have to restrict the hot magenta and eye-searing lime colors to save our eyes though! <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></p><p><span style="font-family: trebuchet ms,geneva;">Even though it doesn't affect gameplay and it's just for the sake of being able to make yourself look totally frickin sweet, everyone loves creating their own unique characters and the more options available, the more immersed we'll feel!</span></p>

<p>we've been told the upcoming expansion will have "difficulty scales" for raid zones. Does this mean that we will see say, 2x and 4x versions of all raid zones? or are the difficulty settings applicable to the same raid base (ie, 2x zones will have 3 settings, and 4x zones will have 3 settings)?</p>

<p>In RoK, my Monk could tank just about anything allright. Now, in TSO, she crumples like a bad suit to Deep Forge trash and she's got T1 and a bit of T2 armor. What happened? All of the brawlers in my guild have given up and rolled new mains.</p>

<p>Would it ever be possible to give us a secondary guild hall call spell? For instance if we have access to a guild hall that we don't belong to, and putting it on a 30 or 60 minute recast. This could be useful for those of us who have toons in more than one guild, or who want a call to a city other than where we're guilded with. It may seem superfluous but I think many would find it handy once they try it out.</p>
