I downloaded and installed the new Station Launcher with no problem but whenever I click Friends then choose Friends/Connect to Friends Network the "Authenticating" progress bar gets all the way to the end then says "You have been disconnected by the server."

The Station Launcher log says "service connection returned error: 3"

I've tried exiting and re-launching, made sure my password is right, made sure I can log into EQ with that account, whassup?

Holy crap I just launched again and it worked! Maybe there were server problems earlier? I had tried over and over and over again.

Aye, there were issues with the friends server (I believe there still may be a few minor ones) but they're being fixed in short order. Let me know if you notice any further troubles though!

It looks like the real problem is that the new Friends/Connect to Friends Network selection on the Friends window (instead of the old status dropdown that has now been replaced with a button that says "Join Voice Channel...") doesn't work. When the server disconnects you, the only way now to re-connect is to choose Games/Show Games (and I think then Friends/Show Friends...although the last time this happened I might have automatically reconnected with just Games/Show Games from the Friends window...it's been a long day).

I just gave the process a whirl as, last time, I ran into the same disconnection error as it was a universal issue. This time, though, everything went clearly and I was able to connect to my guild's channel.

I'll leave it on just a bit to see if there are any stability issues. If you're running into a consistent issue that most folks aren't - We can certainly check into your situation.
