Last night at around 2:30 - 3:00 am GMT i tryed zoneing to Thundering steeps with my main character Mirendier. the zone did not even attempt to load and took a fair few seconds to boot me to character select. I tryed loadin mirendier again straight away but the same thing happened and the zone didn not attempt to load. i have just tryed again at 11:42 am GMT to load mirendier and i am still having the same problem. To test wether it was a zone server problem i sent an alt named Astero to Thundering Steeps and the smae thing happened and i am still not able to load either character up, but any alt in my guild hall will still load up.

I need an imediate responce from SOE as to why i cant use my characters and why they are stuck!

And if anybody else is experiencing this problem make a seperate thread and make it noticed.

I NEED HELP!!!!

Petition in-game so you can get a character move. Obviously this needs to be done on another character.

I had this problem and somewhere in the tech forums i found what I needed. It may have been this thread:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=453718

Assuming it wasn't a zone crash, it sounds like a router or blocked port issue. If you're using a router then I would advise bypassing it temporarily to see whether or not that resloves the problem. If it does then you'll need to set up that router for port forwarding. the following website has detailed information about how to perform that task:

http://www.portforward.com/english/...routerindex.htmSimply select the router you are using, then select the 'skip this advertisement' button in the upper right, and finally select Everquest 2 on the following page. You will then be presented with a walkthrough on how to forward the correct ports. Please respond if you need any further assistance.
