So I was getting help from this forum to fix a previous problem... refer to this link for that problem:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=453950

I decided to try fixing the problem in the way the CSR was directing me. After taking the necessary steps, I went to use the launcher again. This time, I get an error that says it's updating and to see if I want to cance, continue, or keep trying. Then it opens a web page that has a list of patch notes.

When I get to that page, it offers a link at the top to update with a web launcher or something like that. I download that and try to install. Everytime I try that, there's an error that says "Error opening file for writing: C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online Entertainmentnpsoeact.dll Click Abort to stop the installation, Retry to try again, or Ignore to skip this file."

The only think I can do is ignore it.. nothing else works. Then I try to go launch the launcher and it keeps going back to that HTML page... I still have yet to see the Launcher GUI... I haven't used the new Station Launcher for about a day and a half, so this is new sinc3e then. Looks like it comes from an update.

When I installed this OS, I never made any other account so I don't know why I wouldn't have "Admin Priveleges". Also, since I had been taking the CSR's instructions I always click "Run As Administrator" when I launch Station Launcher.
